In December 2019, the Marching Statesmen visited Hawaii to march in the Pearl Harbor Day Memorial Parade, after hearing a personal address by a Pearl Harbor Day survivor, now 100 years old. The trip also included a moving visit to the U.S.S. Arizona Memorial, a performance at the U.S.S. Missouri, a bus tour of Oahu, a horizon-expanding visit to the Polynesian Cultural Center, snorkeling at Hanauma Bay, and a strenuous hike up the Diamond Head volcano. The Statesmen greatly appreciate all those who donated to help make this once-in-a-lifetime trip happen. You can see them in the parade and at the U.S.S. Missouri here.
